William C. Beverly II

William C. Beverly II, 70 years old transitioned to be with the Lord on July 23, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1954, to the late Margarett Jones and William C. Beverly, in Henderson Kentucky.

Little Bill, as he was affectionally known, attended and graduated from North High School in 1972, where he was an avid track athlete. Little Bill joined the US Army Military from 1974-1976 and became a master carpenter. He continued his trade working with Traylor Brothers and his own business, Beverly Quality Maintenance.

Little Bill loved to fish and spend time with his kids, grandchildren, family and friends. He was the WORLD’S GREATEST GIFT TO US from God as a father, grandfather and great grandfather. There wasn’t anything he would not do to make sure we were taken care of and taught us how to navigate in this world. Nothing brought him more joy and happiness than his FAMILY. The love he showed was unconditional. He loved to watch sports with his sons and grandsons, avid fisher and loved to BBQ with family and friends.

Little Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Margrett Jones and the late Anthony Higgins, the man who raised him as his own child unconditionally, brother, Archie Jones and cousin William “Diamond Bill” Rogers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Delshambrela Cartwright (Germaine), William Beverly III and Marcus Beverly (Denisha), three granddaughters: Dachealle Brown, Kori and LaBresha Layne. Three grandsons: Javion Sherman and Juellz and Jaxson Beverly, two great grandsons: Ronald Coleman III, and Ja’Markus Nance one brother: Robert Jones and 2 sisters: Reba Goodwich and Angela Higgins, in addition to a host of family and friends.
