Tony Wade Jackson was born September 20, 1956 to Rosa L. Jackson and the late Icelius “Bubba” Jackson in Henderson, Kentucky. Tony went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2019.
Tony was born and raised in Henderson and later moved to Evansville, Indiana where he married the love of his life, Patrice “Denea” Hughes, on April 15, 1989. From this union they had three children, Korrea, Andre’, and Morgan all of Evansville.
Tony left to cherish his memories his wife of 29 years Denea, children, Korrea Jackson, Andre’ (Jessie) Thomas, and Morgan (Desiree) Jackson all of Evansville and Kacee, Henderson, KY, sisters and brothers, Letty J. (C.I.) Wiggins of Evanston, IL, Evangelist Suzzette Walker, Jennifer R. Bender and Rosa O. Woods of Henderson, KY, Brenda King of Milwaukee, WI, Dearl (Devonna) Jackson of Gurnee, IL, Earl (Janice) Jackson of Columbia, MO., V. Quinn (Dorita) Jackson, Everett (Carol) Johnson of Owensboro, KY, grandchildren Za’idi, Majirea, Anabella, Azhari, Adyson, Emelia. Long time “brother”, Mark McGuire, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Tony attended Henderson City High School. He obtained a business degree from Lockyear College. He was the owner and operator of KAM Trucking and TNM Lawn Care Services. He was employed at SAIA Ltl Freight as a truck driver. Tony was a member of Sons of American Legion (SAL) Post 354 of Evansville, IN.
At a very young age attended at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Henderson, KY, and became a member of St. John’s Apostle Catholic Church, he recently attended Memorial Baptist Church after the closing of St. John’s Church.
Visitation Wednesday, January 9th at Memorial Baptist Church 605 Canal Street, Evansville, IN from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Services is Thursday, January 10th at Memorial Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Osborne Funeral Home has final care.
