Timothy Wayne DixonEvansville, Ind.Timothy Wayne Dixon, 50, departed this life February 9, 2014, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., with his devoted wife, Aileen (Johnson) Dixon, by his side. He was born February 22, 1963, to the late Margaret Dixon-Weathers and the late Ralph Hay in Henderson, Ky.He was preceded in death by stepfather, Shirley Weathers; brothers, Barry and Eric Weathers; and sister, Gloria Floyd. Timothy attended First Baptist Church at an early age, went to school in Henderson, Ky., and worked for Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville for 20 years.Timothy was an avid fisherman, loved gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife, Aileen, and his children, Timia and Timothy Dixon II. He had a loving and caring spirit. He enjoyed visiting and meeting people and never met a stranger.He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Aileen (Johnson) Dixon, who loved and cared for him for 25 years; Children Timia and Timothy Dixon II, all of Evansville, Ind.; sisters, Corrina Floyd, of Bowling Green, Ky., Shirley Lynn Weathers, Evansville, Ind.; brothers, Ralph Gibson, Henderson, Ky., and Eric Hay, of Chula Vista, Calif.; mother-in-law, Anna Tyler; father-in-law, Robert Johnson, Sr. (Virginia), all of Evansville, Ind.; godmother, Sarah Posey, Corydon Ky,; sisters-in-laws, Carolyn Walters (Errol), Evansville, Ind., Beverly Roberts, Jeffersonville, Ind., Teresa Menefield (Burkes) Evansville, Jocelyn Johnson, Atlanta, Ga.; brother-in-laws, Ahmed Harris (Shanikka) Evansville, Ind., Chris Johnson (Carlissa), Robert Johnson, Indianapolis, Ind.; an aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home.
