Tairan Mepole McBaine, age 37, departed this life on September 8, 2016 while at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Tairan was born January 16, 1979 in Evansville, Indiana to Sheila Moody Taylor and Mikeal McBaine. After receiving his diploma from FJ Reitz High School, he was employed with the Summer Youth Program and later at the Shoe Carnival District Center and T.J. Maxx as a production worker.
Tairan confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and would occasionally attend Nazarene Baptist Church as a member. Tairan loved the Indianapolis Colts football team and was a true FANatic. He loved spending time with his family and many friends. He enjoyed traveling to nearby cities, playing X-Box and spending time with is young cousins, telling them about his Grow-up Plan for each of them. He was a dedicated and loving father to his two beautiful daughters and his step-son and a committed and loving companion to his long-time fiancé. Most of all, he was a devoted and loving son to his mother whom he called his Black African Queen. In addition, he had lots of love for his brothers Pagerick Moody and Mikeal McBaine and his sister Meka.
Tairan was preceded in death by his father Mikeal E. McBaine Sr. ,grandparents Elbert and Ola Mae Moody, grandfather James McBaine, uncles John Wesley Bryant and Frederick McBaine and aunt Rita Gail Moody Waddell.
Tairan leaves to cherish his mother, Sheila (Synoray) Taylor of Evansville, two beautiful daughters Tieronna and Natiyah McBaine both of Evansville, beloved step-son Christian Hall of Indianapolis, fiancé Natosha Swope of Evansville, grandmother Mattie McBaine, brothers Pagerick Moody and Mikeal McBaine Jr., sister Mika McBaine, aunts Bonita (Jerome) Stewart, Maria Parkman(James), and Carol (Scott Maley) Moody; uncles Elbert (April) Moody, Jr., Larry (Patricia) Williams, Michael (Shirley Christian) Moody, Kenny Moody and Darren Parchman (Katrina) and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
