God Has Spoken: Mr. Stephen Earl Taylor,
On Sunday June 5, 2022 God called his name and said come home and take your rest.
Stephen Earl Taylor was born July 29, 1950, in Hartford, Ky to the late Roma and Gladys Fant Taylor.
He received his early education in the Kentucky school system. (Beaver Dam Ky)
Mr. Taylor accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savor at an early age and was united with Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ at the time of his demise. Under the leadership of Pastor Tim Baker.
In the early 60's he moved with his family to Evansville Ind where he continued his education. In 1967 he joined the U.S Army where he served his country for 4 years during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he took employment with Alcoa Alum. Corp there he was a faithful employee for more than 20 years. In 1970 he met Mary L. Hunter who became his best friend, later the mother of his children.
Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his Father; Roma Taylor, mother; Gladys Taylor, brothers; Herman Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Mitchell Taylor, James Taylor, sisters; Ivenia Taylor, and grandson; Roderick Fox Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories daughters; Lasonia Taylor (Evansville), Kristina Taylor (Palm Coast Fl.), Latina Morris (Evansville), sons; Troy Higgins (Indianapolis), LaFredrick Taylor (Evansville), LaTerence Taylor (Evansville), Nico Payne (Evansville), sisters; Ethel Martin (Rev. J.D. Martin) Valdosta, Ga, Lynette Taylor (Beaver Dam, Ky), brothers; Charles Robinson (Patty) (Owensboro, Ky), Calvin Robinson (Barbara)(Evansville), David Robinson (Evansville), Johnny Robinson (Jacki)(Virginia), Godson; Doug White Carol (Evansville),God brothers; Elder Thomas Parks (Yolanda) (Evansville), Mr. Ed Massey (Rose) (Evansville), 36 grandchildren. 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, & Nephews, other extended family and a host of Friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15th from 10 to 11am with funeral service to start at 11 am at
Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
