Rosie Mae Campbell affectionately known as "Rose" was born on August 1,1946 in Marks, Mississippi to the late Robert and Ida Mae Ellis.
She worked for Ellis Park for many years. She was a Beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife, and Grand Mother. She enjoyed cooking for those she loved, dancing, and cracking jokes. She was a member of Little Valley Baptist Church. She was loved by so many. To have her in our lives was a blessing. She will be truly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was proceeded in death by her Husband John Neal Campbell, her in-laws Thomas and Christell Fykes, her daughter Barbara Wiley, her grand-daughters Gamia Stuart and Kendra Wiley as well her siblings Ruby Brown (Sammie), Marcella Green, Barbara Jean (Jackie), Johnnie Earl, and Thomas Miller.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her children Daphane Stuart (Mark), Patricia Suggs (Anthony), Carol Wiley, Caresa Campbell, Tina Campbell, Marcus Campbell (Tamra), Glenn Wiley, and Anthony Wiley (January), her foster children Trazette Warfield (Edwin), Charles Robinson, David Robinson, and Michele Youngblood. She will be missed by her siblings Juanita Moore, Sheila Carter (David), Irene Miller (Thomas), Robert Ellis, Jr. (Shirley), Pastor Willie Ellis Sr. (Marcella), Precillar Sturdivant and Larry Fykes (Johnnie). Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Geronica Hazelwood Connor (Kenn), Anttonieo Madison (Lydia), Traymayne Campbell, Cammy Madison (Calvin), Martine Wiley (Tyisheanna), Robert Gee, Kenisha Lowry, Jayla Campbell, Jasmine Campbell, Micheal Wiley, Ididas Wiley, Kenneth Lowry, Ziyad Wiley, Ma'at Wiley, Makiya Wiley, Aniyah Campbell, Yahna Wiley, Lemuel Wiley, Yeshurun Wiley and Bella Rose Wiley, great grandchildren Kenn III, Kindred, Jullian, Olivia, Keshaun Jr., Kanye, Malik, Di'Shane, Samaria, Micha, Mi'Kaylah, Emir, Kemora, Anthony, Kenise, Ryland, Avery, Ariana, Jay'Arion, Jay'onn, Ajahya, Ja'Naiya, JaNaysia, Ja'Neiyah, Trinity, Jayda, Trayonna, Kamya, Princeton, Ra'Niyah, Meliyah, Traymayne Jr., Tyrek, Nakia and great-great granddaughter Amaya.
Final Arrangements have been entrusted to Osborne Funeral Home. The Home going Celebration will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum at 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 8, 2023. The viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The Repass will be immediately following at The Crescent Room located at 621 South Cullen Avenue, 47715.
