Rose Ella Carter

Rose Ella Carter 57 was born to Andrew and Katie Wilson on March 5, 1957. Rose was baptized at an early age and was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Henderson County High School and from there she attended Henderson Community College graduating as an LPN. Rose worked as a nurse for 30 years until she retired due to health complications.
Rose loved life! She enjoyed gardening, fishing, antiquing and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her. Parent’s Andrew and Katie Wilson, Brother Robert Wilson and step son Christopher Carter.
Rose is survived by her husband of 34 years. Dudley” Buddy” Carter of Corydon, KY, sons Andrew and Anthony Carter both of Henderson, KY. Stepdaughters Terri Tidwell ,Indianapolis, IN, Teri Carter ,Antioch, TN, Adrien(James) Chamberlain of Evansville, IN, stepsons Timothy Carter, Evansville, IN, daughter in law ,Monich Carter, Evansville, IN, sister Rosa L Tobias, Milwaukee, WI. Rose was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Aunt Virdie M Johnson, Henderson, KY. Best friend and spiritual sister Jane Gaines, Henderson, KY and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday 12:00 at Osborne Funeral Home 702 Gum St, Evansville, IN, with visitation beginning at 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
