Ronnie Wayne "Dukay" Jackson, 63, of Evansville, died Saturday, Jan. 14th, 2023. He was born on September 19th, 1959 to the late Roosevelt Jackson Sr. and Dorothy Green (Jackson).
Ronnie was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. As joined at a early age, he served from 1979- Aug. 1982. Dukay enjoyed fishing and loved pitching horseshoes, as he says he's the best. You will always remember him by singing, It don't cost a dime to stay out of mines. He loved his family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Roosevelt Jackson Sr., a step-father, William Green, and an older brother, Roosevelt Jackson Jr., and a beloved ex-wife; Carman Jackson, who he loved dearly.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy Green; daughter, Veronica Murray (Jessica); a granddaughter, Adara Murray; sisters Janice Owen, Brenda Moorman (John), and Vickie Taylor; brothers Tony Jackson(Shelia), and Dennis Jackson; loving(BFF); Stella Price; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
"We may not see you with our eyes, or touch you with our hands, but we will feel you in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 24th at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel with military honor's ceremony.
