Quintin Urban Baltzell Sr., 6o years old born in Evansville, IN. November 20, 1962, to Connie Lou Baltzell Sr. and Dorothy Weatherford Baltzell, passed away on November 22, 2022.
Quintin was the youngest of five boys blessed into this marriage. Quintin was very athletic in school playing baseball and boxing, He graduated from Harrison High School. Quintin worked at Duncan Janitorial over 10 years and was known for his great barbecue at the Market on Main where his coworkers look forward to his barbecue treats from Q.B. Barbecue, which also spread to New Harmony In.
Quintin was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, and regularly attend St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where is brother is Pastor. He loved life and family, His brothers agreed that Quintin would listen to what you had to say to him but at the end he did things his way. His brother Byron called him "my little brother Q"
Quintin is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy McGuire.
Quintin Sr. is survived by his three children Donora Baltzell, Quintin Baltzell Jr., and Derrious Dulin, six brothers, Rev. Connie Baltzell Jr, (Debra), Byron Baltzell, Nathan Baltzell (Beverly), Morrie Baltzell (Carol), Gary McGuire and Kenny McGuire, sister Kimberly Bushrod, and Natalie McGuire, a host of grandkids and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. A very devoted companion Becky Douglas whom family thanks the lord for.
Visitation will be held Friday 10 to 11am with funeral to follow at 11am at Memorial Baptist Church.
