Phyllis Yvonne Chaney Robinson was born May 15, 1949, in Evansville, Indiana, to Willis Edward Chaney and Ada Constance Taylor Marshall. Phyllis passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, at Brickyard Golden Living Nursing Center in Newburgh, Indiana.
Phyllis, was the hard worker and spent her time as a manager of many retail stores and was a devoted homemaker as well.
Phyllis loved knitting, creating many beautiful handmade treasures, she was also a talented and skilled decorator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robinson; son, Anthony Robinson; and infant daughter, Elizabeth.
Phyllis is survived by her son; Timothy Chaney; sister, Jacques Coleman; brothers; Ronald Marshall, Robert Marshall (Marcia), Willis Chaney Jr. and Christopher Derek Chaney, as well as a host of nieces,nephews, extended family and friends.
