Patricia Gail Martin-Carter

November 24, 1948 — July 30, 2016

Patricia Gail Martin Carter was born in Evansville, IN, November 24, 1948, to the late Edna Louise (Hollowell) and George “Pepper” Martin. On Saturday, July 30, 2016 surrounded in the love of her family at Deaconess Hospital Patricia peacefully passed away.
Patricia had worked various jobs at Kruckemeyer Kohn, North Park Nursing Home, Evansville State Hospital, Former Welborn Hospital, Family Dollar, Dollar General and Wal-Mart.
She loved to read, work word search puzzles, as well as watching her favorite soap operas, and movies. Patricia’s greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and family.
Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Marion Junior Carter and sister Shelia Davidson.
Patricia leaves to cherish many fond memories, her daughter Marilyn Ann Carter (Adam Couto) of Evansville, IN; sons Patrick Lee Carter (Deborah) of Indianapolis, IN; Sean Michael Carter, of Henderson, KY and her significant other Richard Sherman Carter of Henderson, KY. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, other considered daughters Kim Morris, of Evansville, IN; Erika Foster, of Evansville, IN; Talisha Minor, of Evansville, IN, three fur babies, childhood friend Brenda Starks, sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral Service will be Wednesday 11:00 am at Osborne Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am
