Michael Allen Small Jr. affectionately known as “Big Mike” and “Biggie Smalls” was born May 4, 1967 in Evansville, IN.
He was a beloved father, brother, uncle and cousin. He had a larger than life personality. He loved his family and often adopted friends as extended family. He didn’t wait for family reunions to connect with family, he was very active in everyone’s life in Evansville and Henderson. He loved telling stories, cracking jokes, playing spades and firing up his grill and having everyone around him as he’d name all of the meats on the grill. He’d say “Ya Dig” with the biggest smile you’d ever seen on his face. That’s how we will remember him the most. In the days to come we will celebrate his memory always.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy Thomas, father; Michael Allen Small Sr., grandmothers; Delores Bester and Talitha Small.
He leaves behind to cherish and celebrate his memory his daughters; Cynthia Danielle Small and Mika Armani Small, sisters; LaNiesha Chapman and LeShauna Brown (Marvin), brother; Brian (Mia) Small, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
He had a personal relationship with the Lord. He was a man of faith and he showed it by the way he actively demonstrated love to all he encountered. He didn’t just attend a church building. He was the church.
John 13:35
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
