Massiah Darnell Washington was born in Evansville, IN on December 6, 2005,to Rahni Taylor and Marcellus "Marty" Darnell Washington. Massiah passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital surrounded by her family.
Massiah, an active 7th grader at Washington Middle School, was an outgoing, young lady who never met a stranger. She loved to ride her hover board wherever she could, but her favorite thing to do was dance and post videos of her dancing. Massiah, was an aspiring You Tube Star; she used her passion for dance as a member of the Tri State Glitter Dance Team and she had been a member of Diamonds Program.
Waiting to greet Massiah in heaven are her grandmorther; Darlene Taylor, great grandmother; Dorothy Banks, and uncle Quentel Washington.
Left to Cherish many fond memories are her parents ; Rahni Taylor and Marcellus "Marty" Darnell Washington. three sisters, Gabrielle Johnson ,Juliana Dilworth, Bri'niiah D Washington and two brothers, Elijah Taylor and Jerijah Johnson, Grandparents; Darisil Wiley(David), Ronald Taylor, Richard Darnell Washington, Great Grandparents Melvin Collier, James and Patsy Taylor and Alverna Dulin. Special Aunts; Vonda "KK" Banks , Alisha Parson ,Nikeyah Malone,,Talia Taylor,Tiara Banks,Lisa Collier,Laura Collier,, Uncle Chris Fuquay and a host of special aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and, Hakeen (her beloved dog) who all loved her and will all greatly miss her bright and loving spirit.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday at Memorial Baptist Church, where visitation will begin at 9am until service time. Osborne Funeral Home entrusted with final cares.
