Ecclesiastes 3:1, 2A, 4
“To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to weep and a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”
Marvin Leo McClure was born in Henderson, Ky to the Union of Virginia & Eli McClure on March 16, 1946, being one of 10 children.
As young child he joined Calvary Baptist Church and was baptized. Marvin attended school in Henderson County.

Marvin became ill in 2005 but continued to try in any way he could to give and take care of his family, because he knew they would take care of him. He shared his confession of faith with his wife and children so they would know for sure he was saved. He repented for his mistakes with his family. He put it this way, “Only the good Lord could have cleaned me up and bring me through. If it wasn’t for God he said, he knew he never would have made it”
After a long health battle, the Lord in his perfect will called Marvin to rest from all his laboring, May 26, 2020 with his wife and children always by his side, lifting him up in prayer. “No more earthly struggle for Marvin, we as family and friends weep, but thank God for saving grace.
