Marshall Edward Moore

January 2, 1959 — May 18, 2024

Marshall Edward Moore, 65, transitioned from Earth to Eternity on May 18th, 2024. He was the second bouncing baby boy born to his loving parents Herschel R. and Doris (Keys) Moore on January 2, 1959. He graduated from Central High School in 1977. Marshall was a hard worker and valued team member for many years in sales at Sears and spent nearly three decades keeping Ascension-St. Vincent (Formerly St. Mary's) Hospital clean and safe in their Maintenance division. Marshall enjoyed many activities in his pastime including volunteerism, reading, writing poetry, gardening, and listening to classical and gospel music were just a few of the things he enjoyed.

He especially loved attending and working in his forever church home Liberty Baptist church where he served as Deacon and enjoyed participating in Church Anniversary banquets and the Golden Age group. He greatly enjoyed Sunday school and Pastor Robertsons' powerful and spirited sermons. Marshall loved Reverend and Mother Robertson and his entire church family. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed enough to know him!

Left to cherish his life and legacy include his wife Cynthia Lindsey Moore, Mother Doris (Keys) Moore, and brothers; Herschel R. Moore, Jr., and Mark A. Moore. Sisters Joan E. Moore-Mobley, Gina Moore (Joseph Thompson), Niece Catherine M. Moore, Nephew Reginald L. Moore, great nieces and nephews, Aunt Mary Welch, and many cousins, family, and friends.

Marshall is preceded in death by his father Herschel Moore, Sr., daughter Roberta Frazier, Grandparents Perry and Bobella Moore and Willie and Caroline Keys, and a host of aunts, uncles, and dear family friends.

Your kindness, humor, intelligence, and quiet strength will forever be missed, Marshall! Rest In His Eternal Peace.
