Margaret Renae Snider was born in Evansville, Indiana, on July 1, 1967, to James Snider and Valerie King Parker. Margaret passed away on December 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Margaret had worked until retirement for Silgan Containers. Margaret enjoyed shopping on QVC. She also enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved encouraging Robert to be a better person. Margaret was the strongest person in the family. She was the family matriarch. Everyone depended on her. She was very generous with her time and her love. Family was her greatest joy.
Her brother, Phillips Snider, as well as her father, James Snider, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Robert Scott. daughter, Shavonn Skelton, and Robert’s children, whom she loved as her own, Robert Scott Jr. and FeShiyra Scott; she also survived by her mother, Valerie Parker. Her siblings: Donna Hagen (Wandell), Chasity Lester and Stefanie (Carlos) Kelly, James “Ed” (Yvette)Snider Jr, and Demetrius (Jennifer) Parker, Donnie Parker (Anne), Stacy Pendleton (Dion), Brandy Rucker (Vick), Jaques Knotter, Jim Parker Jr. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Zy’Air Baker and Zaiden Babb, A host of niece's nephew's cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2025,11:00 am at Osborne Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 am to 11 am at the funeral home.
The family ask that friends, please make charitable donations to the Easter Seals Foundation for Autism Therapy in memory of Margaret.
