Margaret Nancy Skelton born October 27, 1926 in Camden, TN to the late Minnie Strickland passed on to Glory November 29, 2019 while at Brentwood Golden Living Center in Evansville, IN.
Margaret was a member of First Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor F.P. Miller. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Margaret enjoyed going to Bingo and rummaging. Her greatest Joy was spending time with her daughter and grandchildren whom she adored. Margaret was a RN for years before she retired. She was married to the love of her life V.R. Skelton who precedes her in death. Margaret is also preceded in death by her brother; Marvin Strickland.
Left to cherish her memories are her beloved daughter; Michelle Rankin, granddaughter; Vanessa Denton-Brewster (James), grandson; Matthew Denton, niece; Regina Strickland as well as other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2019 at 12:30pm at Oak Hill Cemetery. Osborne Funeral Home has been entrusted with final care.
