Leo Lionel Johnson Jr, 74, took rest in the Heavenly father’s arms on Friday September 11. 2026 at New Harmony Healthcare in New Harmony, Indiana. Leo was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 13, 1952, to Leo Sr. and Bobbie Boyd Johnson.

Leo was a hard worker and known jack of all trades. After some time in college, Leo went on to pursue a career serving in the United States Navy. He was talented mechanic. He enjoyed may hobbies, including fishing, riding his bike, and playing chess. He liked to watch Crime Story and was a fan of Star Trek. He loved to play games on his phone, and you did not interrupt him while he was playing. Leo had attended St James MB Church,

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Leo Sr and Bobbie Johnson, brother, Mark Johnson

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, sons, Leo Johnson II (Heather), Willie Massey, Eric Johnson (Shawna), Sylvester Johnson, daughters, Tanikia Johnson, Shacara Harris, Gwendolyn Johnson, Bobbie Johnson, brothers David Johnson, Keith Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, sisters, Barbara Boatwright, Ruth Washington, Belinda and Jeanette, his significant other Eliose Massey, grandchildren Kyair, De’Andrea, Zymi, Jeremiah, Rontez Jr., De’Avion, Demonee, Tailan, Keosha (Carmelo, Karmen, Carter, Israel and Joseph ll), great grandkids, Willie jr., K’Drian, Khalil, Gabby, Kavion, Brayden, Amaru, Sophia, Maya, Harlan, Tallulah, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
