Larry Colin Pauley, Sr., was born on September 15, 1943, to the late Mary Z Marshal Pauley and Booker T Pauley, he transitioned from Earth to Eternity on December 8th, 2024. He was baptized at an early age and joined the Independence Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana.
Larry graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1961. There he played basketball and was popular among his friends. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force as a Field Maintenance, where he served four years, Schilling Air Force Base Salina, Kansas.
Larry married his first wife of 10 years Gloria Jackson from Fort Worth Texas. From the marriage they had 3 sons. Larry moved back to Evansville, Indiana and worked in several positions, including Aluminum Supervisor at Alcoa Aluminum Warrick County for 30 years.
On July 12, 2002, Larry joined in matrimony Tonda Fields of 22 years, sharing blended families into one. Larry is survived by his loving wife; Tonda Pauley, sons, Tony Binder, Tyrone, Pauley, Michael Pauley, (Cindy), Quincy Sargeant, Colin Pauley (Roxanne), stepson's Jayden Allen (Alicia), Craig Stewart (Sara), one daughter Phiona Harper (James), a surviving daughter-in-law Pam Pauley, sister. Alyce Dulin (deceased Husband; Ronnie), a brother Michael Pauley (deceased Wife; Deborah). In addition to his parents, Larry's preceded in death by his son, Larry C, Pauley, Jr. and sister Mary "Nu Nu" Williams.
Larry leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to leave a special. Thank you to the Gentiva Hospice Care. And the staff from Deaconess, Intensive Care Unit" ICU"
