Laquita Martrese Noble

Laquita Martrese Shelby-Rankin was born in Evansville, IN. on March 2, 1967, to the late Johnny Rankin Sr. and Phyllis Hawes.

She attended Bosse High School. Laquita was a free spirit with a bubbly soul. You could always find her somewhere laughing, listening to music or in the kitchen cooking as if she had a army to feed. She was a kindhearted lady who would give you her last. She will be missed.
May 2023 during our visit I went over the plan of salvation with her, and she rededicated her life to Christ. On August 26. 2023 @7:30am. Laquita boarded her flight to her eternal home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, mother; Phyllis Hawes of Indianapolis, daughters; Naya Struder and Breair Burch both of Indianapolis, sisters; Shonte Esters, Quan and Adrieanna Rankin, brothers; Johnny Rankin Jr. (Carla) and Byron Hawes (Angie), grandchildren Zelio, Dakota, Drix, grandparents, Donald and Ollie Cheaney, special aunt and life support Marquette Matchem and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11am until 12noon with funeral to follow at 12 Noon all at Osborne Funeral Home.
