Celebrating a beautiful life, Katherine. Elizabeth Demoss Lewis was born July 10, 1973 to Janice Arnette, Jackson and Robert C Demoss, in Topeka, Kansas. Kathy was blessed to have one remarkable son; Jayden Matthew Everett Lewi. Kathy attended elementary school in Henderson, Kentucky and moved to Columbia, Missouri, where she finished her education. She was employed at Columbia Board of Education as a Home Communicator for 12 years before the tragic accident Sunday morning, July 14th. Kathy loved her job and her students and they loved her. She accepted Christ at an early age at 7th Street Church. Where she was a faithful servant and also a member of the choir. Kathy participated and was one of the biggest cheerleader for her son through his entire football and basketball career in grade school, middle school and high school. She never missed a game. Working concession stands traveling from town to town. After moving to Columbia Missouri, she became a member of 5th Street Christian Church. Kathy was known for her beautiful smile. Always there to help advise with her bubbly enthusiasm. She loved people. She loved to travel and she loved to speak the word of God. She loved to encourage the students. People knew her for her baking skills. Especially her Cupcakes. She loved her family. Kathy has survive by her mother Janice Jackson Earl Jackson stepfather, sister Dana Arnett, brother, Jason Demoss, Fountain Valley, California, sisters, Kellie Demoss and Leon of Hamet, California, Charice Boulware, Stone Mountain, Georgia, stepsister, Netherland Jackson of Henderson, Kentucky step brothers Dewann Jackson, Henderson, Kentucky, Shadrach (Britney) Jackson of Louisville, Kentucky, Jaren ( Autumn) Jackson of Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Demoss her grandparent,. Katherine and Samuel Smith ,Rev. Chester and Elvira DeMoss, in-laws, Leo and Betty Lewis, and Doris Lewis. She had one niece, Taylor and two nephews, Krishaan and Zion, who she loved so much, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
