Jonathan (Jon Jon) Manion was born June 18, 1959 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the proud parents Missie Lorraine (Cork) and Carol Manion. He departed this life on Thursday, May 25, 2016 at his home in Evansville, Indiana.
Jonathan spent his early childhood years in Terre Haute, IN. At the tender age of twelve, his family relocated to Richmond, California. He and his twin brother, Christopher attended Juan Crespi Junior High School and graduated in 1978 from Harry Ellis High School in Richmond.
Jonathan had a kind heart and loved his children and family dearly. He had many skills and talents, always willing to perform any job given to him. He worked several jobs throughout his lifetime and volunteered many years at churches, the Christian Life Center and other missions throughout the community. His community service will be missed.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his father Carol Manion, his twin brother Christopher Ivan Manion; grandparents, Thomas Jay and Dorothy Mae Manion; a niece, Cheanelle Manion and a nephew, David Hutchinson, Sr.
Jonathan leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Missie Lorraine Manion of Stockton, CA; daughter Kellie Manion of Antioch, CA; 6 sons, Jonathan Manion, Jr. of Vallejo, CA; Robert, Donald and Cameron Manion of Evansville, IN; Dustin Mooreman of Evansville, IN and Brandon Pfinkston, of Princeton, IN; grandchildren Akilah, Aaryss and Teonta Jones of Antioch, CA; Ahjo and Jonathan Manion, III of Vallejo, CA; two sisters, Janice (Kenneth) Bluford of Tracy, CA and Mona Leesa Givins of Bay Point, CA; brother, Arthur (Nila) Givins of Franklin, KY; as well as a host of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and a host of other special friends.
One life, well loved, lives on in many memories.
