Jesse James Clark, 78, went home to take rest with the Lord on May 27, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Jesse was born in Basket Station, Kentucky, on March 23, 1944, to James and Willie Howard Clark.
Jesse was a man of God. A faithful member of Little Valley Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and a Sunday School teacher. He loves to rest and relax, watching basketball and boxing was one of his favorite past times, and those who knew him, knew to leave him alone when he was watching. He has spent his working career at Cyanede, which is now known as Atlantis Plastics.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dempsey Lester, Odell Jones, John Clark, sisters, Rosetta Lester, Wanda Posey, Margaret Clark. Ramona Clark, nephew, Dennis Posey
Jesse leaves fond and lasting memories to his wife of 57 years Mary Clark, son Karl Clark, sister, Nancy Clark of Henderson, KY., special nephews Chris and Bryant Posey, special family friend, Michelle Beckner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins .extended family and friends.
Family would like to extend a special Thank You to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
