In Loving Memory of Jerry Dewayne Hale "Baby Jerry"
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Dewayne Hale, a beloved son, father, companion, and friend. Jerry, 34, departed from this world on Monday, January 1st, 2024, in Evansville, Indiana. Born on December 26, 1989, to Terry Lee Hale Sr. and Mary Ann Flemming Hale.
Jerry was an embodiment of love and compassion, his infectious smile capable of lighting up any room. He was a pillar of strength for his family, always putting his children first; they were the very essence of his life. Jerry's unwavering dedication to his children left an indelible mark, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jerry is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Hattie Mae Flemming (Sims), and Frank and Eavie Hale (Nails), uncles; Frank L. Flemming, Oties Flemming and Jerry Hale; as well as his cousin Cheriegna Rhodes. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. Jerry is survived by his mother, Mary Flemming Hale, his father, Terry Lee Hale Sr., and his longtime companion, Kara Givens. His children, Jeraden, Janyila, Jerream, and Jassiah Hale, were the lights of his life. His brothers, Thomas Harvey, Lorne Agada, Terry Hale (Atheona Hale), and his sister, Lori Hale. A special cousin, Franoties "Quinn"Starks, along with a host of cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jerry also leaves behind the impact of his dedication to others through his work at the Youth Care Center in Evansville, IN, where he made a positive difference in the lives of many young individuals.
During this time of profound grief, let us join together to honor the remarkable life Jerry lived and find solace in the memories we shared with him. May his spirit forever guide and protect us as we carry on his legacy, remembering the love and light he brought into our lives.
