James Edward Crenshaw, 72 departed his earthly home to take rest in heaven on, January 19, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. James was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 28, 1949, to Charles and Zella Mae Weekly- Crenshaw.
James was affectionally call "Dough Belly" by his friends and family. After high school James entered the United States Army, where he was Honorably Discharged. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation where he worked as a machine operator. James enjoyed being around the house, cutting the grass and working in the yard. He loved to barbeque and enjoyed the eating the fruits of his labor. Shopping was another one of his past times.
James is preceded in death by his parents
Dough Belly was loved by many and leaves fond memories to his brother, Charles Crenshaw, sisters Sherlene Phillips, Sherry Crenshaw (Rodney), Juanita Crenshaw, and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 from 10 to 11 am with funeral to follow at 11 am all at Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel.
