James L. Adams was born on November 27, 1991, in Evansville, Indiana, to Meka Douglas and James Adams. He departed this life on October 29, 2026, at the age of 34. James attended Central High School in Evansville, Indiana. He later worked at Zurcher Tires, where he handled heavy-duty semi-truck tires and operated forklifts. He was a hardworking man who wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.

 James had a special gift for making people smile. He was full of life, laughter, and personality. He enjoyed hitting the highway, traveling out of town, and spending time with the people he loved. James especially loved being on the grill, surrounded by family and friends, good music, laughter, and good times. He was truly the life of the party, always bringing joy and energy wherever he went.James was also known for giving the best hugs. If you ever received a hug from James, you know it was one you would never forget. Whether he was making someone laugh or wrapping them in one of his unforgettable hugs, James had a special way of making people feel loved. A true jack of all trades, he could put his hands to just about anything. His unforgettable personality and the memories he created will forever be cherished.James shared a beautiful love story with his wife, Kiara Adams. Through life's ups and downs, they continued to choose one another, building a love filled with laughter, growth, and unforgettable memories.

James was also a proud and devoted father who loved his twelve children dearly. He was playful, protective, and always knew how to make them laugh. His love, guidance, and memories will forever live on through each of them.James leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Kiara Adams; his twelve beloved children: Aniylenne, Kayleiah, Jux’Wel, Ja’Nylah, Javeontae, DeAdria, Ja’Riylen, Ja’Leah, Legend, Dai’Arius, Kahlei, and Messiah; his loving parents, Meka Douglas and James (Tammy) Adams; his in-laws, Tawanda Poe and Curtis Vickers; his goddad, Ahmad; his grandmothers, Rosemary, Catherine, Lawanna, and Debora; and his great-grandmother, Betty.His siblings: Yahmese, James III, Timothy, James Jr., Ethan, Antonio (Mecia), Dejuana, Alexus, and Lyric. His in-laws: Ken (Deja) Poe, Kendra Poe, Shante’ (Tracy) Wilson, and Jasmine Vickers.He was preceded in death by Edward Wells, Mary Jo Starks, and Ernestine Admas.
