Ms Jacquelyn Louise Washington was born in Hopkinsville, KY on November 13, 1951, to Robbie Pendleton-Washington and James Edward Washington, Sr.
She was raised in Evansville where she attended Central High School and later graduating from ISUE.
Jackie retired from Bristol Meyers and the Evansville State Hospital, she had also worked at American General and Krispie Kreme.
Jackie was a peaceful woman who loved family, she had a flair for planning parties, her son said " She made everything perfect for everyone”. Jackie enjoyed playing spades, board games and relaxing in her robe watching movies was her all time favorite. She kept the house cold and would have robes for her visitors to wear to be comfortable watching movies with her. Most of all Jackie loved people and loved talking with friends, especially when meeting up with friends at the neighborhood Walmart.
On Friday evening, November 23,2018 a golden heart stopped beating, Jackie passed away, surrounded in love with her family by her side at St Vincent Hospital.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father; James Washington Sr., her son; Reggie Hawkins and uncle Frank Washington.
Jacquelyn leaves to cherish fond memories her son; Robert C(Candace)Hawkins, mother; Robbie Washington, siblings; Sharon Washington, James Washington(Joyce),Donald Washington and Cheray Galbreath, 3 grandchildren Rasjae, Chris and Roman, great grandson Ja Kylon, aunts; Brenda Washington and Antoinette Washington-Clifford, uncles; Ratcliff and Walter Pendleton, special Daughter Brandy Jones and her spoiled dog PUP aka "Puppalious" who was the most pampered pooch you could ever meet; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends
Funeral Service will be Thursday, 11:00 am at Memorial Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 9am until 11am service time
Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
