Gwendolyn Williams

Gwendolyn J. Williams passed away on December 6, 2014 at 9:22 p.m. at Golden Living Brentwood Nursing and Rehab, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 25, 1926 in Evansville to Charles J. Wright Sr. and Mildred Dorsey-Wright. Gwen was of a strong Lutheran faith. She enjoyed crocheting, was a lover of all animals but mainly dogs. She also loved family get together.
She will be deeply missed by all that knew her but the memories and stories will be told to keep her alive in our hearts and a smile on our faces.
Gwen was preceded in death by parents and son Charles J Williams.
Left to cherish many great memories are brothers Charles J. Wright Jr. of Paradise IN, and Jerry M. Wright, sons; Daniel A (Linda) Williams III, Mark A (Sue B.) Williams, Jerry M (E. Charlie) Williams, daughter; Vicki (Reggie) Jones-Smith all of Evansville IN. grandchildren; Frannie J Jones, Andy & Jarrod Williams, Anna Lisa, Trudy (Harry) Ramsey, Robert (Angela) King, great-grandchildren; Devon Williams, Brianna Williams, Emma and Abigail, Jeffrey King, Brittney(Derek Myers) Ramsey, Zachary Ramsey, Jorden King and Robert King Jr., great-great grandchildren; Jaylynn King, Evan and Brayden Myers and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Golden Living Center - Brentwood nurses, staff, hospice and Dr. Merhzad for their help during our time of need. From our family to yours be thankful for what you have today, tomorrow it could be gone.
