Guinevere Green, 76, entered her heavenly home on August 13, 2021, in Evansville, IN. Guinevere was born on April 1, 1945, to Pete Waldon and Bessie Mae Butler in Henderson KY.
Affectionally Called “Mickey” by all who loved her, was known for her loving and caring spirit. She would always greet you with her big, beautiful smile. To visit with Mickey, you know you would have good food and a good time. She kept a mild manner demeanor. She loved to take care of the family and would help in any way she could. The time she spent with them leaves fond memories that will never be forgotten.
After being the first to be graduate high school she continued her career in the military. Serving in the Army, she studied and took courses to become a Certified X-ray Technician. Later taking other career paths. Guinevere was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Henderson, KY.
Guinevere leaves her cherished memories to her husband, Tyrone Green Sr.; children, Kerry Butler(Leteisa) and Rena Davis( Mike), Tyrone Green Jr., and Lashawn Green, Siblings; Alice Brown, Eurie Butler, Blanche Butler, Nathan Butler, Mary Louise Smith, Pearline Perkins, Janice Hall, and Marquest Johnson, grandchildren; Asia Butler, Kaymi Butler, Isis Foster, Aliz’e Green, Shealynn Griffin, Stephen Eastep, and Sophie Wiseman, one great-grandchild; Kyrie Barnhill as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place Saturday at ll:00 am at Sanders Temple COGIC, 721 Martin Luther King Jr, Ave., Henderson, KY. Osborne Funeral Home has been entrusted with final care.
