George Vernon Litherland, 83, was born on October 18. 1939 in Tell City, Indiana to Vernon and Emma Litherland. George transitioned from his earthly home on September 27, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
George was the owner the owner of “Flowers by George” located across the street from the old Executive In, and the former manager of “The Flower Shop.”
George is survived by his wife; Barbara, two sons; Timothy of London, England and Scott of Paducah, Kentucky, one brother; Merrill and one sister; Edna, stepdaughter; Pam and her husband Randell of Noblesville, Indiana, granddaughter, Laura (Mikael), several nieces, nephew, cousins, and extended family.
George was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Robert and Ralph
