Life Journey
This quiet and observant soul arrived for the world to celebrate on May 31, 1986 to parents Frederick Moore Jr. and the late Valerie Trask Moore. Born and raised in Evansville, he dabbled in lots of sports and was a Los Angeles Laker and Dallas Cowboy fanatic! A graduate of the 2004 class of William Henry Harrison High School, this Warrior excelled in track & field and was a genuine, kind and loyal friend to many . Post graduation, he dabbled into the traditional college life at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana for a short stint. However, to no surprise of his family, he was a very bright and intelligent man and did well academically during his time at IU, but he had his heart set on his love for music. He moved back home and started developing his MC skills, singing voice, song writing, production skills and joined the group “Untamed Truth” and later teamed up with his cousin /brother Fernando Wilson and formed the group D.O.A. Affectionately, known as “Third” to his family and friends, he always wanted to do it his way. A regular 9 to 5 job opportunity didn’t suit him, so he spent most of his life chasing his music dream and leaned to hone his barber skills at Roger’s Academy of Hair Design and other entrepreneurial ventures to provide for himself and his family until his last days.
His pride and joy
He was without a doubt a mommas boy and loved and cared for his mother Valerie until her last days on May 10, 2019. However, this love faced some tough competition when Maleka 16, Patience 9, and Frederick IV, 4 entered into his life. To know Third, was to watch him around his children. He was loving, gentle, patient, firm and did I mention firm with his children. He sowed into his children and he wanted nothing else but to be with them and have them around him all the time. He wanted the best for his children and to expose them to a diverse life experience up until his last moments. The African proverb says it takes a village to raise a child. Well that village is his family and this community. Together we will love, support and interact with his children in such a way that they have the resources that they need to grow and develop in a safe, healthy environment and, so they can achieve and reach their full potential in life, after all, that’s what Frederick III “Third” would have wanted for his children.
