With the wind beneath her wings, Donna Denise Jones, age 60 left this world, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital, Evansville, Indiana with her kids by her side
Donna was born on April 23, 1960 in Boonville, Indiana. She was the daughter of Carolyn Mockobee-Jones and Casey Elisha Jones Sr. ,both proceeded her in death.
She accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of St. Andrews Church in Boonville, Indiana.
Donna was educated in the Evansville, Indiana school system., and with great pleasure had announced she had earned her Adult Education Dilpoma (GED) fron Vincennes University 2022. She was employed at Hasgoe for 11 years. Donna was also pie baker on the side.
Donna was preceded in death by her son Curtis Jones-Wilson, parents, brother, Casey Jr. (Precious), Darrel, Jeffery, Norman Jones, and Donald Elaum stepsister Linda Dozier, niece Dezi'Ana Marion , Carl'shay Jones, nephews Daz'Mondre Marion and Tre'Von Starks
Donna was a loving mother, sister, auntie, coworker, friend, and grandma but better known as; Lan Law, and leaves cherished memories for her children, daughter , Dannisha Jones, Johnna(Angie)Williams, bonus daughter Marteia Finott Sons Charles Jones and bonus son; Howard Lane ; grandbabies, Calayvia Wilson, Kel'Ondre Dixon, Destuny Jones, Kel'Ontai Jones, Ja'Mari Doss, Stepmother Anna Jones, sisters Mildred( Jeremiah) Thacker, Darla Jones, Stepsisters ;Hope (Eugene) Ellis, and Yvette Dozier, brothers, Otho (Tammy) Jones, Delmonte Jones, Carroll Jay( Stacey) Jones, stepbrothers; Pat( Carla) Dozier, Levon Dozier, Henry Dozier, Ben Dozier and Ronald ( Angela) Dozier, companion of 21 years; Joseph F. May, best friend; Randy Fentress, Godchildren; Kenaz and James Jones. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts, uncles, and friends, sisters in laws; Bonita Jones and Kathleen Winstead.
Thursday visitation 4-7 at Osborne Funeral Home, service 11am Friday at Memorial Baptist Church burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
