Donald "Pem" Hall, 57, of Evansville, IN went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital. He was born July 11, 1959 to the late Roosevelt Hall, Sr. and Elizabeth (Simpson) Hall. Donald attended Bosse High School and worked at Whirlpool Corporation for many years.
Donald was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
As a child, Donald and his mother had a special bond over their love for Equestrian sports. As an adult, he became an avid fan of sports, often spending time with his older brother, Willie Earl "Owie" at Ellis Park. He always had a daily racing form rolled up in his back pocket. He loved to travel, listen to music, go shopping and tell stories about his childhood. Donald was a very laid back and happy man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and always gave a helping hand to those in need. He was a loving father, grandpa, uncle, son, and brother, as well as, a loyal and faithful friend. His personality, laugh, and smile would light up any room he entered. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Roosevelt Hall, Sr. and Elizabeth (Simpson) Hall, and great nieces Tymia Hall, and twins, Dhemi and Drue Hall.
He is survived by sons, Carnathan Miller and Kiyel Langley (Katie) of Evansville, IN and daughters, Asiane Saunders (Robert, III) of Chandler, IN and Aireal Hall of Evansville, IN, seven grandchildren; Alivia Hall-Aye, Kae'Lynn Langley, Kendrick Langley, Kiylasheonna Langley, Ki'Aubri Fairrow, Kavion Langley, and Keshiea Langley all of Evansville, IN, sisters, Gloria Baker (Randal) and Denise Hall (his caretaker) of Evansville, IN and Brenda Hall of 2Indianapolis, IN. Brothers, Roosevelt Hall, Jr. (Zelma), Archester "BB" Hall (Danita), Willie Earl Hall, Charles Hall (Ruby), Tommy Hall (Keley) and Maurice Hall, all of Evansville, IN, James Hall of New Jersey and Alonzo Hall of Indianapolis, IN, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
