Donald Eugene Freels, Sr.57, born July 28, 1964 in Evansville, IN. to Katherine Freels and George T. Jackson, passed away while at Deaconess Midtown Hospital on September 7, 2021.
Donald graduated from Harrison High School in 1982. After high school he worked over the years for Deaconess Midtown and Core nursing home in the dietary departments. Donald's passion was working on cars. Or as he puts it "Fix on Cars", he could take one apart and put it back together again. He also enjoyed spending time at the casinos or race track. Donald enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Donald is preceded in death by his father; George T. Jackson, uncle; Luther McNeal and son; Donald Xavier Jackson Freel Jr.
Donald leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Katherine Freels, daughters; Deneice Freels (Steven), Ladana Freels-Guthrie (Kenny) and Alecia Robertson, brother; Mark Freels, sister; Michelle Ware, 12 grandchildren and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22,2021 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home.
