Destiny Sheree Johnson

Destiny Sheree Johnson, 35, of Evansville, Indiana, was born on August 17 , 1990, to Deandrea Meriweather and Howard Johnson-Bey. Destiny passed away on April 4, 2026.Destiny was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her girls and shopping. Her children meant the world to her. She was a caring and outgoing person who brought warmth to those around her. When you encountered Destiny, her unforgettable smile would brighten your day.

Destiny was preceded in death by her Mother; Deandria Meriwether, aunts, Mary Ann Johnson, Bernice Turner, Carolyn Johnson, and Chelestine Simpson; and her uncles, Harold Lee Johnson, Lorenzo Young Sr., Anthony Young, Williams Meriweather, and James Meriweather.

Destiny leaves to cherish many fond memories: her father, Howard Johnson-Bey; her daughters, Honesti Johnson, Rah’Miyah Johnson, A’Mirical Coleman, and Amiya Coleman, whom she loved as her own daughter. She is also survived by her close companion, Antwan Coleman; her sisters, Ashlyne Johnson and Felicia Shaw; and her brothers, Juhmon Santiago and Taroen Johnson.

She is further survived by her aunts, Alberta Ross, Francis Johnson, Joyce Johnson, Allison Halls, Priscilla Sanders, and Monista Meriweather; and her uncles, Edward L. Johnson, Frank Johnson, Simon Johnson, Ernest Johnson, and Joe Lee Johnson. Special Cousins , Velma Johnson and Iesha Young , As well as a host of nieces,nephews,cousins,extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home
