Destiny Sheree Johnson

Destiny Sheree Johnson, 35, of Evansville, Indiana, was born on August 17, 1990, to Deandrea Meriweather and Howard Johnson-Bey. Destiny passed away on April 4, 2026. Destiny was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her girls and shopping. Her children meant the world to her. She was a caring and outgoing person who brought warmth to those around her. When you encountered Destiny, her unforgettable smile would brighten your day.

Destiny was preceded in death by her Mother, Deandria Meriwether; her grandmother, Betty Meriwether; her aunts, Mary Ann Johnson, Bernice Turner, Carolyn Johnson, and Chelestine Simpson; and her uncles, Harold Lee Johnson, Lorenzo Young, Anthony Young, Williams Meriweather, and James Meriweather

Destiny leaves to cherish many fond memories: her father, Howard Johnson-Bey; her daughters, Honesti Johnson, Rah’Miyah Johnson, A’Mirical Coleman, and Amiya Coleman, whom she loved as her own daughter. She is also survived by her close companion, Antwan Coleman; her sisters, Ashlyne Johnson and Felicia Shaw; and her brothers, Juhmon Santiago and Taroen Johnson.

She is further survived by her aunts, Alberta Ross, Francis Johnson, Joyce Johnson, Allison Halls, Priscilla Sanders, and Monista Meriweather; and her uncles, Edward L. Johnson, Frank Johnson, Simon Johnson, Ernest Johnson, and Joe Lee Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home
