Denzel Lamar McElroy 31, passed unexpectedly on Monday, April 22, 2024, in Evansville Indiana. Denzel was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 9. 1993 to David McElroy Jr. and Michelle Fellows.
Denzel (aka Spanky) was a very loved person and touched many people. He never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. Funny, outgoing, and real big on family. He especially loved his nieces and nephews. He was selfless and had a heart of gold. Denzel enjoyed listening to music, playing spades, and grilling. He was such a people person; he left an impact on this community. He was employed at McDonald on Rosenberger in Evansville and was a workaholic. He was a 2010 graduate of Bosse High School.

Denzel is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Fellows.

He leaves all special and loving memories to his father; David McElroy Jr. (Belinda), grandmother; Aurelia Fox , brothers; Darius McElroy (Alysha), Kordell Williams, David (Trae) McElroy III, sisters; Kendra Mc Elroy, his twin Danielle Mc Elroy, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and a lot of friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am with a funeral to follow at 11:00 am on Friday, May 10th at Memorial Baptist Church, burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Osborne has final care.
