Deborah Jean Higgins-Hasal was born on February 4, 1956 to Marvin Higgins and Betty Jean Bridges in Henderson KY. She was the oldest of five. On Friday, January 29, 2016 at the age of 59 Deborah surrounded in love of her family passed away at Community Methodist in Henderson Kentucky.
Deborah attended City High were she graduated in 1974. Later, she went on to work in the early childhood field where she retired. Deborah was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother; Betty Jean Bridges, her father; Marvin Higgins and brother; Eric Bridges.
She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memories a daughter; Angelia D. Venero (Briggs) and a son; Jerel Ramon Briggs. Her grandchildren; Zaybrien and Zaniyah Briggs (Da Twins), Brothers; Michael Higgins and Chris Bridges, sisters; Marvetta McGuire, Larrie Jo Hatcher and Shelika Higgins as well as her former companion Roderick Hasal along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. New Hope Baptist Church. Osbornefh.com
