David Allen Melton was born in Worcester, MA on October 19, 1977, a son of the late Susan (Melton) and Gary A Brown. David sadly passed away after a traffic accident in Colorado October 1, 2019..

David served in the U.S. Army as a SPC, some of his Army achievement medals included; Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, War on Terrorism Service Medal, Expert Badge (Riffle) and Sharpshooter Badge. He was a proud retired Veteran.

David enjoyed the simple things in life. You could often find him playing his video games. He also loved listening to R & B and soul music. The Temptations was one of his favorite groups.
He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by his wife; Denise Lenee Melton, step daughter; Mya, three step sons; Hoseau Gott, Malon Gott and Shaquil Cabell, sisters; Mindy Melton and Shannon Melton, mother-in-law; Darnell McClain and sister and brother in laws who loved him like a son and brother instead of an in-law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, extended family and friends.

His wife would like to give a special thank you to his special uncle, Brian Melton for all he did for David during his life’s journey.

Friends are invited to call, Friday 10-11a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 11:00a.m at the funeral home. Military Honors ceremony will be performed at Locust Hill immediately following the service.
