Clotee Quinn

Clotee’s weaving began in Percy, Mississippi, June 27, 1946 when a beautiful baby girl was born to Lucille Quinn. She was the oldest of three children. Clotee was later raised by her grandmother, Olivia House.
Strands of faith were interwoven in her life. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Sav-ior at an early age. She was a true believer and trusted God always. She prayed out loud and boldly went before His throne.
Clotee used to sew clothes for her children when they were small. She could be found read-ing her Bible, doing puzzle word search books and cooking. She loved watching westerns and comedies on television. Her laugh was funny.
Her life took many turns as she lived in Greenville, MS, Chicago, IL and her final home of Evansville, IN.
Clotee went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2019. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Callion; brother, Robert Frank Quinn; sister, Leflora Callion Cotton; nephew, Robert Frank Callion and niece, Wanda Denise Callion-Harris and wonderful friend, Bessie Murry.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, daughter, Cassandra Diane Love (Corey) of Tulsa, OK and two sons, William Washington, Jr. (Kristie) and George Anderson Washington (Cornelia) both of Evansville, IN. She also leaves behind eight granddaughters: Marchey Kirksey, Kendel Jackson, LaShonda Brown, Nina Love, Sydney Love, Ajenna Winters, Shakida Hawthorne and Breanna Nkosi and three grandson, James Jackson, Elijah Hunter and Roy Winters. She dearly loved her four great-granddaughters: Anizjah, Aulani, Alyscia, and Kaidynce. She is also survived by one nephew, Tony DeWayne Callion of Greenville, MS.
She also leaves behind three special sisters, Barbara, Shirley and JoAnne Murry whom she loved dearly.
