Clarissa Julia Williams

Clarissa was born March 12, 1936 in Evansville, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Pastor Jesse Pitt and Mother Lucille Eualina Pitt.
She was a member of Progressive Holy Temple Church, under the Pastor Timothy Wayne Simmons Jr.  She was a member of the Mother’s Board. She loved helping people and had many friends. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking for others, she loved children, and working in the church.

Clarissa was preceded in death by her twin sister; Clarice Williams, other sisters; Sadie Barker, Celestia Clements, Velma Alexander, Ruby Marshall, brothers; George Pitt, Jesse Pitt, Alvin Pitt, Norman Pitt and Sidney Pitt.

Clarissa is survived by her loving daughter; Teresa Pitt, grandchildren; Samuel Martin Jr. Samitra (Lincoln) Marion, Esther Martin (Kendall) Beard, Candace Martin,  Great grandchildren; Ishmael, Angel, Johnathan, Jabez, Abigail, Anabel, Ava, Rein , Charity, Herman, Zion, Mei-lee, Lincoln Jr, Gideon, Kendall, Kendra, Kaycee, Anaya, Alyssa, Cyruss, Alexandria, 5 sisters; Oberia(Pitt) Cambell, Verla Jones, Felicia (William) Simmons , Sharis Pitt  Goines, Bonita  Allen, 5 brothers; Glen(Nancy)Pitt, Dwight (Dorthy) Pitt, Darrell Michael Emanuel Pitt, Sherman (Cindy) Pitt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
