Charles "TOP CAT" Tyler

Charles Edward Tyler, 78 of Evansville Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Linda White Hospice House. Charles was born in Wheatcroft, Kentucky to Maurice Robertson and Vandora Scott on June 2, 1947.

Charles affectionally known as “Top Cat” was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Charles loved his family and enjoyed being with family. He had worked as a Chef at the Executive Inn and Riverhouse for a number of years at each. He loved music and was a drummer in the Old School Players Band. He was a sports fan, during his younger years he was an outstanding basketball player and had attended college on a basketball scholarship and win or lose he was a diehard Colts fan.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Latoria Miles, sons, Mark Tyler and Terry Tyler

All his cherished memories he leaves to his wife; Teressa Tyler, daughter L.Tina Tyler, sons; Darryl Tyler, Kevin Tyler, Kurt Tyler (Mindy), Frankie Pollard Jr.

and a host of extended family and friends
