Cecelia Diane Williams, 59, transitioned to her heavenly home on October 19, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. Cecelia was born in Evansville, IN. on June 22, 1962, to Jethro Landours and Esterlean Garrett.
Cecelia was a faithful member of The Lord's House Church. Growing up attending Watkins Temple under the leadership of Elder Hale, then united with Open Door under Elder Patton. She was a compassionate, friendly and a hard working woman, she would help out when she could. Cecelia loved her family and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She would often take her nieces and nephew on adventures. She loved her dog, Luxury and Turbo. K-Love was her favorite radio station. Loved listening to gospel and country music. Some of her favorite artist, Mc Hammer, Whitney Houston, Prince, and Michael Jackson. Cecelia also enjoyed traveling, drawing, and shopping. She was employed at SRG and would have celebrated 31 years on October 22, 2021.
Cecelia is preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael Garrett
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her two daughters, Athena Rates and Tyeece Thomas - Lewis; brother, Mark Garrett; sisters, Judy McDowell, Earla Trammel, Shelia Givens; aunt Gayle Garrett and uncle Daniel Angevine,grandchildren, Kyn'Terrion Pegue Jr. and R'eal Celean Pegue; host of nieces, nephews' cousins extended family and friends

A visitation will be held Thursday (5-7pm) at Osborne funeral home. Funeral Friday at 11:00a.m. at The Lord's House Church,923 Meyer Ave., Evansville, IN. Osborne has final care.
