Byron “Keith” Patterson was born to Ethel Birchett Patterson in Evansville, IN . on April 25, 1960. Bryon Keith Patterson 61, went to his heavenly home Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital with his family at his side, surrounding him in love.
Bryon retired from the Army National Guard. Bryon had also been a heavy machine operator and worked construction for himself.
Bryon was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where he served on the usher board and found great joy in attending church.
His grandchildren were his heart he loved hanging out and spending time with them, each one had a special name Paw Paw Keith gave them. Keith also loved his family dearly. They could always look forward to a call in the morning just to check on them. Keith was always sharp, he enjoyed cooking and fishing with his friend “Gee”. To know Byron was to love him. His smile and outgoing spirit will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ethel Patterson, granddaughter, and close friend Michael Stewart.
Keith leaves to cherish many fond memories his children; Antonio “Ruff Cut” Patterson, Anitra” Baby” Patterson, and Stephen Harris Oglesby. Patterson. Brother; Joseph Patterson, grandchildren; Milton ”Turtle” Thomas, Faith ”Sissy” Thomas, and JaShawn “Paw Paw” Mitchell.
His companion; Sheila and the mother of his children who held a special place in his heart; Clarice Harris-Compton. Niece and nephews; Marcus Patterson, Katea Johnson, Tookie Carter, Cousins Noonie, Dolly, Catherine and Venice. and dear friend; Gerard Kelly, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
