Bruce Edward Carter

Bruce Edward Carter, 57 of Evansville, IN. passed away Sunday, November 29,2020 in Florida. He was born to the late Melvin Cater Sr. and Anna Carter on March 28, 1963.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Carter, and stepbrother Horace McGuire Jr.
Bruce was a member of New Hope Baptist Church before moving to Florida, and then joined 93rd Street Baptist Church in Miami, Fl.
Bruce attended Stanley Hall and McGary grade school and graduated from Central High School in 1982. He worked at Guardian Automotive for 25 years. Upon moving to Florida, he worked at Park West Gallery in Miami, Fl., traveling all over the world showcasing art painting. He also worked at D&S Company in Florida.
Bruce loved interior decorating, Nike shoes and jogging along the beaches in Fl. But most importantly Bruce loved his family.
His loving kindhearted spirit will be left with Mazzie (Beverly Smith) Carter, Melvin (Donna) Carter, stepmother, Rosa Carter, Stepsisters Natalie McGuire, Kim McGuire (Anthony) Bushrod, stepbrothers, Gary (Sharmon) McGuire) all of Evansville IN., Kenneth (Connie) McGuire of Zion, ILL., uncle Wayne Carter, of Indy, Aunt Charlotte Kennedy of Indy, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
A walk thru visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6,2021 from 11am-noon at Osborne Funeral Home Private family only memorial service at noon.
