Brandy T. Johnston (Jackson) passed away on October 17, 2024 after a long battle with Kidney Disease. Brandy was born on January 13, 1978 to Alma "Cecilia" Jackson and James Young. Brandy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, she leaves lots of cherished memories.
Brandy was a motivator to many and a go-getter. She was determined through her sickness to do what was needed for her children whom she loved dearly. Brandy loved to shop and watch the T.V. series Power. She graduated from Ivy Tech as an RN in 2010. Brandy loved caring for others during their "hard times" and had compassion for others. She missed being a nurse, it was one of her great accomplishments.
Brandy was preceded in death by her mother, Alma "Cecilia" Jackson. Her grandparents Mildred and Alonzo Jackson Sr. Her aunties Rachel and Lillian , Margret, uncles, Harold, Robert, Alonzo Jr, and John Jackson.
Brandy leaves to cherish her 4 beloved children, Pierre Jr, Jayvier, Christopher, and Cecilia Johnston. Her former husband, Pierre Johnston. One of her biggest supporters, her brother Adrian Sr. (Amitra), and Malachi Young. Her sister, Cherita Young. She also leaves her loving nieces and nephews, Adrian Jr, Adri'Yana, Adri 'Yel Jackson, and Ja'Shawn and D'Omoni Perkins. She is also survived by her aunties Martha, Clara, Ellen, Maybelle, Theresa, and Uncle Ronald. A host of cousins, friends, and family. Special long-time friends Aneka Carter and Kara Nemer.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Brandy's life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Osborne Funeral Home. Friends and family may visit from 10-11 AM,
