Betty Bell Leslie 82, of Evansville, IN went to her Heavenly home July 20, 2015 in Atlanta GA after a brief illness. Born October 7, 1932 in Princeton KY to the late Harrison and Emma Jean Hogan. She was a member of New Hope M.B. Church. Betty known as :Aunt Babe” was known for her great buttermilk biscuits. She was preceded in death by daughter; Janice Bell Magic November 9, 2014 and grandson Jahi Bell whom she raised, December 26, 2005.
She is survived by husband; Lamar Leslie, daughter; Glenda L. Poindexter of Atlanta GA, son; Rodney “Tito” Bell (Lynette), grandson; Rayshon Bell whom she raised, stepson James Leslie (Sandie), son-in-law; Odell Duckworth, and brother-in-law; Gailespa Brooks all of Evansville, IN, 9 grandchildren, 20 great-
grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at New Hope M.B.
