Bernice “Gail” Virginia Peaches-Redding (60) born January 9, 1957 in Evansville, IN the late Ann Kelley and Walter Peaches passed away July 13, 2017 at her home surrounded in the love of her family.
Gail loved the Lord and proudly showed it. She was a member of Memorial’s Mother’s Board and The Missionary Board where she had served as secretary for both aulixeries. Bernice remained faithful until her illness prevented her from attending church on a regular basis.
Gail was married to Emory Redding for over 33 years but together for over 40 years. She was a chef for Darryl’s for over 20 years. In her spare time she loved reading, cooking and playing on her computer.
Bernice is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; William Charles Peaches, Walther Lee Peaches Jr. and Madeline Peaches.
Left to cherish her memories are her devoted and loving husband Emory Redding, daughters; Beverly Ann Crayton ,Patricia Peaches and son Mark Freels , brother; Eugene Peaches, sisters; Mary Peaches and Sheila (Richard) Peaches-Hudson, grandchildren; Dyshakia Shelby, Sean Shelby and Brittany Leanne Smith, great-grandchildren; Deyton Smith and Samariah Wilder, best friends; Patricia Redding, Mary Cartwright, Kathy McCreary and Cindy Gaines as well as s host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other extended family members.
