Beatrice Cole, 95, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital, surrounded in love by her family. Beatrice was born on March 1, 1927, to John Thomas and Fannie Stanton Wade in Evansville, Indiana.
Beatrice attended Lyles Elementary school and moved on to Lincoln High School. She had worked over 30 years as a CNA. She loved being a caregiver and took really good care of her patients. She spent time working several years at Good Samaritan, then moving on to Braun Nursing Center ultimately returning to Good Samaritan to complete her working career retiring at age 75 in 2005. Beatrice was a caring and devoted mother and grandmother. Beatrice had been a long-time member of Dove Chapel until her health failed.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 70 years Ralph E. Cole, sons, Jim Parker, Sherman Cole, brothers, John Thomas Wade and Garland Wade, grandson Davad Cole
She leaves her cherished memories to son Ronald Wade, daughter, Laresa Winstead (Lawrence), devoted caregiver, Nikki Head, grandchildren, Hanifah, Zakiya (James), Achillies, Chyna, Quilliana, Antonio, Addison, Tracey, Shawn, Danisha, Marcus, Joseph, Daniel, Christopher, Nickolas, Keith, a host of great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. with funeral to follow at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home.
