Arlynn Johnson

Arlynn Johnson, best known by his family and friends as “Big Unk” went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 21, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital, after a brief illness.
Arlynn was born to the late Joe Johnson and Debra Helm, on March 27,1976. Arlynn attended elementary school and high school in East St. Louis, IL. He graduated from East St. Louis Senior High school. Arlynn enjoyed playing with his dog Mya, playing his game, and going to work.
He was proceeded in death by his father Joe Johnson, his great grandmother, and his stepdaughter Katie Edmonson. Arlynn was a service agent at D-Patrick and Avis car rental for 20 years where he had many friends. Arlynn helped raise his step kids Tyler and Katie. He will always be remembered for his big smile, his laugh, his big heart, and his gifts of compassion.
Arlynn leaves to cherish his mother Debora Helm, his sister Tawanda Poe (Curtis Vickers). His nieces and nephew: Kendra Poe, Kendrick Poe, Kiara Vickers, Shante’ Wilson, Jasmine Vickers. His great nieces Jaida, Dey’Nise, Ania, Ja’Nylah, KenZi, DeAdria, and Ja’Leah and great nephew Kendrick Jr., Aunt and a host of extended family and friends.
All Services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel
Visitation time will be 10:00am until 11:00am, Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am at the Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 1400 East Virginia Ave, Evansville,IN 47711.
