Anthony C. “Festus” Walls
born to the late Robert Lee Walls Sr. and Channie Bell Roberts Walls in Evansville, IN. He was employed by Labor Ready. He is survived by his sister, Lillian “Lucille” (Charles) Walls-Sanders of Montgomery, AL, step-sisters Tecora Floyd and Nathalie Douglas-Momon both of Evansville, IN, step-brother, Clovis “Leon” (Terry) Douglas of Evansville, IN, aunts Ethel Jackson and Carolyn Marshall of Collierville, TN and Rosa Mae Word of Gary, IN, a uncle, Jimmie Roberts of Gary, IN, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, cousins and friends. He had a special place in his heart for his two nieces, Shannon Gray of Evansville, IN and Leslie Gray of Oviedo, FL and cousin Betty “Bet” Roberts of Atlanta, GA, which he kept in contact with the most. Anthony also leaves behind a long-time companion, Regina Rankin and her two daughters, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters Geraldine “Geri” Walls and Selma McQueen and brothers, Robert Walls Jr. and Michael Walls.
Visitation and memorial service will be held on May 20, 2016 beginning at 5 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home.
